The Kakamay Movement Organization is thrilled to announce a new partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), aimed at making technical vocational education and training (TVET) more accessible to the Deaf community and other marginalized sectors.

On May 14, in a significant step towards this goal, Kakamay Movement joined hands with TESDA, alongside other prominent partners including the Printing Industry Board Foundation, Inc. The Memorandum of Agreement/Understanding (MOA/MOU) signing ceremony took place in Taguig City.

Representing Kakamay Movement at the ceremony was our founder and Chairman, General Gabinera Palma, while representing TESDA was SECRETARY SUHARTO T. MANGUDADATU. The other notable representatives the mass MOA/MOU included PIBFI President Atty. Dominador Buhain, ASSIST Program Director Francis Macatulad, PCDSI President Jerome Tuguin, and GADC (McDonald’s Philippines) Vice President Rubenrico Marasigan.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Deputy Director General for Partnerships and Special Concerns Vidal Villanueva III and other TESDA officials, marking a significant milestone for the Kakamay Movement and its commitment to improving the lives of the deaf community through education and skills development.
